UPDATED PROTOCOLS FOR COVID-19
The Animal Hospital of West Lake Forest is continuing efforts to serve our community in a manner that is safe and compliant with ongoing recommendations by the CDC and IDPH. We strive to provide you and your pets the highest quality care while limiting risks as much as possible to you and our staff.
We will be continuing our curbside method of client/patient visits. Whether it be for scheduled appointments, emergencies, or food/medication pick ups, we ask that you call us when you have arrived in our hospital parking lot. We will conduct any necessary business over the phone as much as possible, including payments. As we head into winter, we will be limiting our staff's time outside as much as possible. Patient histories for appointments may be conducted when you first call in or after the technician has brought your pet into the hospital.
Know that we have instituted these protocols with everone's safety in mind and that we are incredibly grateful for your patience and understanding as we navigate through these difficult times.

Sylvia W."We found a practice where everybody is not only capable but also very sensitive with both animals and owners. Our dogs are in good hands with Dr. McKenna, who always makes time to talk with us. Dr. DiFuccia was extremely helpful too when we needed him. Staff is pleasant, location is nice. We highly recommend it!"
Tammy W."I love this place and the staff is beyond wonderful. Dr.DiFuccia is truly an amazing vet and an amazing human being. I'm truly blessed to have these people in my corner. When any of my animals get sick they definitely go beyond any expectations. I couldn't ask for a better place to bring my animals"
Wendy B."Dr.s McKenna and DiFuccia are thorough, caring and delightfully in tune with cats in a dog world. We have one we nickname the "Rain Man" and even he survives the trauma under their kind tutelage. We wouldn't take any of our herd to another doctor and feel the prices charged are fair for the incredible quality of care. The folks at the front desk are just as good as the ones in back and I can't speak highly enough of the professionalism and caring everyone in the practice displays during every visit. We have seen them handle everything from neutering to end of life and the experience is invariably superlative. Love these guys!"
